    WiiBalanceBoard Help

    Hey Brian and all.

Love the Library Brian its great!

I have 2 questions which i hope i can get answered here!

    1) When i connect the WiiBalance, i need to have my Wiimote connected as well otherwise it just doesn't work. I have the same problem with the test program supplied, i thought i was able to connect the WiiBalance by its self. Is there anything i need to do to get the board to work on its own?

    2) I am trying to create something with the WiiBalance that allows you to play a Skateboard game or Surf Google Earth. Basically map WASD or the Arrow Keys. What i did to start with, is i have been using the SendKeys function to do this, i have got the weight to work, so they if i learn forward in notepad i print a lot of W's and left i print D's etc etc. Yet, when i went into Google Earth to test this i got nothing. So, is there another function i need to use to get this to work, or am i simply doing it all wrong?

Any advice and guidance would be great!

    Thankyou!

I've had the BB hooked up alone without any problems.  Do you get an error or what is the behavior you're seeing?

I'm not sure on the Google Earth stuff...I haven't used GE in that way.  Perhaps someone else here has?

I get the following error when i try and connect the board on its own :- "Error reading data from Wiimote...is it connected?"

I have tried connected it on its own and searching for multiple wiimotes, but i still get the same error.

As for the google earth thing, i think it may just be google earth, i loaded up Call of Duty 4 and i was able to control move around the game by moving on the board.

Didn't have that problem too. Connected the BB alone.

Can you try going into your Bluetooth devices list and deleting all Wiimote-related items and then re-pairing the BB only?

It's not you.  It seems there's an issue with some stacks handling of Bluetooth devices remaining on the list, but that aren't currently paired.  I'm looking into it...

Yea, I noticed this also, was going to look into it myself, nice to know that others are having this problem.
