You should be able to...I haven't tested it, but the camera will pick up any IR source.
I dont think so, the wiimote works at aroun 100Hz, is too slow for a tv remote. it would be like a single pulse to the wiimote.

if you aim to the wiimoet using the tv control, the wiimote will at least register it. if you acn use it to decode the sent code - don't know.
so at least you should be able to use it for testing the connection ebtween wiimote and your computer!
