Can't open solution in vs2005

I see. Well, I manually edited the solution file to pretend it was a VS 2005 solution, and that enabled me to open the solution. I suppose if you get to a point where you're using uniquely-2008 features, I'm screwed. But as long as you continue to maintain .NET 2.0 compatibility, maybe that won't happen. Thanks.

My goal is to maintain .NET 2.0 compatibility to make it as widely accessible as possible.  We'll see how long I can maintain that...

when i try to open an solution managed by svn, i face the same situation as you, i suddenly  realized  i choose vss as the default source code management  tool before,so i reset the source code manage tool to null, after that ,the problem is resolved
